THE RIVERSIDE SHELTER IS EUTHANIZING YOUNG ADOPTABLE DOGS AT AN ALARMING RATE AND WE DO NOT WANT THIS YOUNG QUEENSLAND HEELER X GIRL TO BECOME ANOTHER STATISTIC LIKE THE OTHERS! ADORABLE 'FOXY' IS LISTED AS A 1.5 YR OLD FEMALE QUEENSLAND HEELER X AND CAME IN CLEARLY SCARED AFTER BEING FOUND AS A STRAY. SHE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO ADOPT ON 3/19 TO A LOVING, RESPONSIBLE HOME, OR TO RESCUE (AND IS EXPECTED TO BECOME URGENT AND AT RISK FOR EUTHANASIA SHORTLY THEREAFTER). RESCUE GROUPS WOULD NEED A FOSTER TO SAVE! Help!! WE ARE LOOKING FOR A LOVING AND RESPONSIBLE HOME OR FOSTER AND RESCUE FOR FOXY (#A1786520) as we have named her. She is listed as only 1.5 year old female Queensland Heeler mix (perhaps with some shepherd in her too) waiting for her owner to come. She was reported with another dog who was not able to be found. Foxy is believed to already be spayed and weighs 58 lbs so she may be mixed with some shepherd too. She arrived fearful which is understandable being likely abandoned. Unfortunately, because the shelter is so full, she sadly can be euthanized for space when she meets her legal retention in the next few days, or sooner if the shelter decides to red list her like they have with so many other young, adoptable dogs without warning for anything minor like a runny hose, or being scared. Currently, she has no medical issues noted.
