About Copper

Friends, please help us if you can. We need to rehome my sons bloodhound, immediately. The following is a message from his family: 7 years old Neutered Housebroken �%9Dѕ�%8FBite/snap history�%9Dѕ�%8F(not aggressive! It was a space invasion reaction. Superficial wounds, no puncture wounds and no medical attention needed) *CANNOT BE AROUND SMALL CHILDREN* *CANNOT BE AROUND PUPPIES* *FOOD AGGRESSIVE* *DOES NOT LIKE HIS FEET TOUCHED* This is Copper. While he may have a few flaws, he's a good boy who deserves a home who can meet his needs. He loves to cuddle during the day, but wants his space at night. He loves to play outside with his soccer ball and football, loves a good chew toy or bone and loves to go for walks. He has been to a dog park and loved that, but he was much younger. He has gotten grumpier in his older years, so he doesn't tolerate things he used to anymore (like playing with a bunch of other dogs). He does well with adult dogs, but not puppies. Absolutely cannot be around small children. He does get overwhelmed by a lot of people in the house, but if you tell him to go to his bed that will help him chill out. We can no longer give him what he needs since having our daughter. We have to keep him cooped up while she is awake because of a recent altercation. Our daughter's safety is number one priority and we are doing everything we can to do right by Copper as well. Please help us find him a home. We are willing to travel a little bit if need be.
