About Chester

Chester found himself at a shelter in Kansas for unknown reasons and our rescue partner saw him and decided he was too special to be in a municipal shelter. He is special in that he is mostly deaf, likely from birth. He is quite a sweetie though and does wonderfully on leash walks. His paperwork says he is about 3 years of age but he may be within 3-5 years - it's just hard to tell sometimes. He is a beautiful spaniel mix and perhaps some Cavalier spaniel but mixed with something a little larger as he is about 25-30 pounds. He is a mellow boy and likely will learn hand signals for training fairly easily. A fenced yard is probably best for this boy as he won't be able to do hear you call him. He has been in foster for a while and was sleeping at the foot of the foster's bed and didn't have accidents in the house overnight. This beautiful brown and white boy is available for adoption now. He is up to date on vaccinations, been neutered and will come with a microchip to be placed by the new owner's veterinary office. Adoption fee is $200.
