About Tyson

I need to rehome my 5 year old German shepherd Tyson. My husband is the one who really pushed to get a dog however he doesn't do much with him. I am not much of a dog person however I'm the one who has most of the responsibility for him and having him in our home is causing alot of stress. I have two daughters 12 and 10 who dont play with him all that much, but he is a RAMBUNCTIOUS player. I've finally talked my husband into letting me find him a new home. With proper exercise I'm sure he'll mellow out. He'll do basic commands for a treat but hasn't really been trained. His recall is ok with zero distractions, but if he's excited about something he does not listen. He's jumpy and never really grew out of playing with his mouth, not aggressively, but he likes using it. He's not a bad dog and doesn't have any really bad behavioral issues. We have had skin issues and an ear infection in the past. He lost alot of his hair. With a good grain free food he is much better.
