Yes ��%BD'� ON HEARTWORM PREVENTION? Yes ��%BD'� ON FLEA/TICK PREVENTION? Yes ��%BD'� GOOD WITH KIDS: Unknown - probably would do best with older children due to her size and some puppy-like energy ��%BD'� GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS: Yes - probably would do best with dogs similar in size with a matching energetic play style. ��%BD'� GOOD WITH CATS: Unknown ��%BD'� ARE YOU OPEN TO A RESCUE TAKING YOUR DOG ? YES ��%BD'� OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THE DOG: Abby is a 2-year-old mix breed, very healthy with a glorious shiny black coat of the softest fur .. she has beautiful white markings. She was recently rescued from a local shelter and has made great progress in our home where she is building her confidence and learning new skills and boundaries. She is very loving and affectionate. She sleeps well in her crate all through the night. She walks well on a leash. She is food motivated and a quick learner .. already knows sit and understands she should 'sit' before she is let out to potty and again before she comes back inside. She is also learning to sit and wait till invited to eat her meals. She is likely fully potty trained at this stage (we've had zero accidents) but we do ensure she gets regular potty breaks till we are sure she is 100% trained in this regard. She has no issue getting bathed and walks easily into the shower stall for a bath. ��%BD'� Abby is a very sweet and good girl - the only reason we need to rehome her is that we have found she and our resident dog are incompatible: Our resident dog is older and very submissive. Abby is simply too energetic for him and he has become very stressed with her in the home. ��%BD'� We would love to see Abby in a loving home with perhaps another young dog with an energetic play style to match hers so they could romp around together.
