About Luna

I have had Luna since she was 4 months old. I love her so much, but I have to rehome her due to multiple reasons. I am moving soon and cannot bring her with me. I don't want to rehome her but I have to for her sake. Her anxiety has become an obstacle when it comes to trying to socialize her, take her out on walks, etc. I am a college student and can no longer afford the things she needs to be a happy dog. She is scared and kind of aggressive towards men because of fear that I am not sure of. I cannot afford to get down to the main issue of it. It is now affecting my housing and the family I live with. I love her so much and want her to flourish in a household or rescue that is able to help work on her anxiety issues and provide her the exercise, yard, and environment that she needs to be happy and healthy. As a college student, I am now no longer capable of providing for that. I've held myself back from many opportunities regarding work and school to keep her because I cherish her so much, but it's now unavoidable. I would prefer a rescue, but if you are an individual who is able to effectively deal with an anxious dog, then please reach out to me. I can provide more information. She is such a sweetheart, loves attention, and she carries her toys in her mouth as a way to comfort herself (which is so cute!) She is potty trained, knows many commands (sit, lay down, drop it, wait, etc.), and knows so many word meanings for when it's time to eat, time to go outside, etc. She is up to date with vaccinations and is microchipped! She's a smart dog and super treat motivated which makes training easier. She is a huge velcro dog, and she does well with routine. Since she is older, she mainly just sleeps when I am at work all morning, but when I'm home, she follows me everywhere I go! She had an accidental litter in December, and I was with her every step of the way until the puppies all got adopted into good homes. She is getting spayed 03/15. We are located in Sherman, but can travel within reason.
