About Penelope

Meet Penelope! This tiny little sweet thing was left to fend for herself in an apartment when her owners moved out and abandoned her there. This baby was skin and bones when she came to us, but still so sweet and trusting. She has not learned our doggie for, but it could be that the door is too big for her. She is working on being house broken and if taken out every couple of hours she is doing her business outside- but this will take patience and a commitment to accomplish. She is about 3 years old and is a tiny little thing. Penelope walks a little funny because her right back leg has a luxating patella which seems to have been with her since birth. The vet felt that since 30% of the surgeries don't fix the problem, it would be better to keep her weight managed and help her when needed with pain management. But, Penelope has no idea she has a little issue, and she is super playful and loves all dogs. She sleeps on her foster mommas bed and would like nothing better than to be your one true love and if you have a tiny little friend for her, she would be very happy. Her adoption fee includes her vet check up, spay, rabies vaccination, Bordatella , 5 way parvo vaccine, and microchip. A collar , leash, some of the food she is eating and her favorite bed or blanket will also go home with her (and when available a halter as well). *Application, home check and contract required.
