About Roxy

Hi, I'm Roxy, a 7 year old snuggly love sponge of a 7 pound girl. I am house trained and I walk nicely on a leash and travel well in a car. I am located in my home based rescue in Linn County, about one hour from: Eugene, Corvallis, Sisters. About 1.5 hours from Bend and about 2 from Portland and Newport. My rescue people will meet you partway if they are able to. I love nothing more than to lay on my back in your lap, or curly up nearby. I wag my tail all the time, and also love walks. I have spent much of my life making babies, and now I want to spend the remainder being the baby. I think I'd prefer to be in a home with adults only from now on. I am spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped and on flea, tick and heartworm preventatives. My adoption fee is $350. I can share human attention with other nicely behaved dogs, but puppies are where I draw the line. I've probaby raised a gazillion. I seek a home where I will be babied and given the great nutrition and care that I have missed out on all my life. A great home for me and my must haves include: 1. A house with a securely fenced yard. 2. Folks that are home a lot; I have done a lot of alone time, and now I want to be with my people. I will do fine loose in the house when you do go out. 3. Adopters who will treat me as part of the family and let me sleep in their bed. I'm the best and sweetest little back sleeper. 4. Ideally, folks who believe in great canine nutrition, as in: adding quality protein to kibble or even home cooked or raw food. My rescue is happy to provide information about quality dog nutrition that will not cost much for a tiny girl like me.
