About Phoenix

Phoenix (aka Phee)�%A0 is a 1 year old, 27 Lb. German Shepherd Mix Phoenix hasn't had the easiest start in life.�%A0 We rescued her from the shelter with a terrible skin condition.�%A0 After initial testing, the vet thinks it may be some kind of autoimmune issue.�%A0 She is being treated w/ steriods, antibiotics and medicated shampoo.�%A0 It's so exciting to see her skin pigment and fur slowly coming back! We aren't sure if it will all come back, but she's beautiful even if it doesn't!�%A0 �%A0Despite her condition, she is the best girl!�%A0 She does pretty well in a crate , she is leash trained and almost 100% potty trained!�%A0 Her foster says, 'she walks like softened butter on a leash.'�%A0 She also does well having full roam of the house and loves to lounge around on the bed.�%A0 Phee is learning to play with her foster siblings and the resident cat!
