Hi, my name is Kizmet! I'm a very handsome 6 yr old retriever looking for a very special dog savvy owner to love me. I may look like a typical Golden Retriever, but I was raised without much socialization. I've spent the last few months in training and have done very well. My Trainer / Foster Dad says I would do best with someone who allows me to have my personal space, provides structure and strong leadership. I need someone who will spend time with me but also has room for me to roam and explore. I would do best with a homebody who doesn't need to cuddle me. I like to relax on the floor or in my crate. I'm sweet and enjoy pets but not being coddled. I need to feel safe in my home with someone who is assertive and will give me boundaries. I'm very sweet, alert, smart and eager to please.
