Hi, my name is Kizmet! I'm a very handsome 6 yr old retriever looking for a very special dog savvy owner to love me. I would be a great fit for an active single person or couple. I may look like a typical Golden Retriever, but I was raised without much socialization. I've spent the last few months in training and have excelled! I get along well with the many other dogs here and even shared my kennel with one who was scared during a storm. I'm very sweet, alert, smart and eager to please. I will bark if I see someone new to alert my human, but not in an aggressive way. Once I know the new person is ok, I go up for pets. I would love someone active who enjoys traveling with me and I'd be a a great trail dog. I would thrive with structure and a strong leader.
