About Amber

Amber was brought in as a stray from Hustleville Road in Albertville as a stray! We believe Amber to be a black mouth cur mix. The vet believed Amber to be around 4 years old. Amber was dumped in a church parking lot a long side another dog. Luckily Amber walked up to the right house where a kind lady took her in for a a short while in hope to find her owner or to take her in as her own. Sadly her dogs didn't take well to Amber! Here is a short intro bio written by the sweet lady: Amber is one of two dogs dropped of in a church parking lot. For a week they hid under my house. When they came out in the daytime I began to get to know them. Ambers favorite is getting and gaving love. We were working on house manner and doing her business outside. Yesterday she was 100% on going potty outside. She seems to be a smart dog, she pays attention to what is going on around her and watches people and cars as they go by. While in my care she has been good with new people after a proper introduction. I took her to the vet where she received her shots, rabies vaccine, heart worm and a parasite test, she tested negative for both. She has received a Month flea and tick pill. She was working on come and sit and was doing well with both. When there is nothing exciting going on she quickly settles in for a nap.
