About Poppy

Poppy is a 7 month old sweet, energetic little girl. She's completely up to date on vaccines, and is spayed and chipped. She is a lab mixed with something else, the vet thought possibly a whippet and/or Jack Russell. She's pretty small, and is only a little over a foot tall. She is great with our 2 year old and loves to play fetch and tug of war. She is fully potty trained and will tell you when she needs to go. She only pees out of excitement. She's been working on walking with a leash, sitting, staying, rolling over, etc. She definitely needs more training, but is a willing learner. She does like to dig and chew on anything she finds, and has also attempted to jump up on the table several times, but is learning that's not allowed. She doesn't bark much unless there's someone at the door, but she quickly warms up to people when she realizes they're not a threat. For several reasons, we are no longer to keep her, and would love to find a new home and family to love and care for her.
