About Happy

Say Cheese! Happy, fka 'Stein' is a 6 yr old German lab mix who wants & deserves a forever home. By no fault of his own, he ended up on the euthanasia list at an overcrowded shelter. He's such a good-natured guy who's easy to love. He was given his new name for obvious reasons.. this handsome guy has a CONTAGIOUS SMILE! ���� He's a social butterfly who enjoys playtime with other willing dogs of all ages & sizes. He has a solid grasp of basic commands & he's diligently refining his manners.���� Happy is a cuddler at heart. He loves attention, especially if other fur babies are getting it. �ٴ� He's understandably a little insecure right now due to being at a shelter and then a foster home. He doesn't want to be away from his people. He's not a fan of the crate, but he will tolerate it after expressing his disapproval for a few minutes. He sleeps well thru the night & when allowed to sleep in a bed, he's a bed hog. He's housetrained too! Happy has a stocky build & will benefit from exercise as he's currently overweight at 60 lbs. Despite that, he has plenty of energy. Luckily, he LOVES to play in the pool, play fetch & he enjoys walks! ���|�ٴZ��%90��'�%8D��|� Happy would be a wonderful companion for someone who is considerably active. He's also great around canine companions who are playful & balanced. He's a lot of fun. Happy is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm negative, & microchipped. He's current on heartworm prevention & flea prevention. He's patiently waiting to find a family to love or a new best friend to go on adventures with.
