About Hobie (Obi with an H)

I rescued a dog from an acquaintance of mine a couple of weeks ago to foster and try to find him a good forever home. I haven't had any luck finding a good safe place for him and am seeking help or good home. His name is Hobie (like Obi Wan, but with an H). He is a French bulldog pitbull mix from the looks of him. Where I picked him up gave me his vet records and he looks up to date. Has not been neutered yet. He is very playful, great with kids (the people that had him had children), and does well with female dogs. I haven't seen him around any other male dogs or any other species such as cats to know if it is the same. He's just over a year old and the acquaintance that I picked him up from did not take very good care of him. He had a previous owner before them too that also did not care for him well either so he does cower a bit at times. He is very smart though and I've worked with him to begin training basic commands like sit, stay, down (lay down), and off (get off of something). I've only contacted the humane society as far as shelters go because I fear due to his breed he would be put down and he does not deserve that. Please help me find him a good home!
