About Riley

URGENT!!! Massilon, Ohio. (Almost) 3 y/o Female (3/18/21). Her name is 'Riley'. UTD on shots WITH record. Fixed. Good with OLDER kids (Nervous around little kids). Good with most dogs, but is progressively showing more aggression (READ BELOW). Not good with cats. Some Aggression towards other dogs. Food Aggression. Stranger Aggression (READ BELOW). House trained. Crate trained. Anxiety and PTSD (READ BELOW). High Energy. Currently on Pedigree food. Weighs 75 lbs. Good with car rides sometimes. Favorite Playtime and Toy: Riley loves to play with hard toys. She loves her peanut butter filled Kong. She loves to play Hide and Seek and Tug of War. She loves being outside. Riley loves to cuddle and she loves to be loved. Riley is a very sweet and loving girl. She is very intelligent. She loves getting attention and loved on by those she trusts. Riley has gone through a traumatic experience, however. Riley witnessed the family puppy being attacked by the neighbor dog. Riley was crated inside but she could hear all of the panic, the screaming and the yelping of the little puppy. Riley busted out of her crate to get to them to try to help. It was a serious situation to where the puppy actually had to have a leg amputated because of the attack. Ever since this incident, Riley has shown lots of anxiety and progressive aggression towards other dogs and strangers. This most likely can definitely be worked through with someone that is willing to work through this with Riley and help her with her Anxiety and Stranger Aggression. Riley's family is heartbroken but they do not have the time to give to Riley. She needs more time, more love, more attention, and she needs worked with through her anxiety. The current owners just cannot do this and want to do what's right for Riley. Riley needs to find her forever family. Riley needs to be placed in a home with no other dogs, no cats and no small children. Riley also needs a Breed Experienced owner who can work through the Stranger Aggression.
