About JEFFY

** ADOPTED ** Jeffy is was estimated a 2 years old (54 pounds, he is full grown) but he's relaxed and easy going -- doesn't seem to have the puppy activity in him. Based on his demeanor, we think he's probably more like 4-5 years old. He was found fending for himself on the streets. Some very nice people found him and looked for owners for over a month but no one every claimed him. Now, it's time he finds a family of his very own so he knows what it's like to be loved unconditionally... like he will love you. We believe Jeffy may be a bearded collie (possibly mixed with pointer, but we are merely guessing). He came in with a lot of hair but was pretty messy so he's been shaved -- his hair is growing in again and he's like a teddy bear -- SO CUTE! He is incredibly gentle, sweet, loving, housebroken, good with people, good with other dogs (big and small), and is very nicely mannered. We consider him pretty much perfect. He walks nicely on a leash and rides perfectly in the car ... and we mean perfectly. Jeffy is a little bit shy at first and while he's fun and playful, a setting with rowdy children or young children would not be good for him. If you have another dog, he wouldn't mind that so he'd have company for the times you went shopping or to dinner. Jeffy is neutered, vet checked, vaccinated, and microchipped.
