About Venus

Venus is a HSNWGA alum that recently returned to us through no fault of her own. She is a Canaan Dog/Cattle Dog mix with a beautiful chocolate and white coat. A mature seven-year-old, this sweet girl weighs forty-five pounds. Already housetrained, Venus is well behaved in the home which is where she prefers to be. This pup is CRAZY about people and loves attention. Her ideal adopter will be someone that is home for most of the day. She is also wonderful with children. Venus, however, has a bit of wanderlust and is able to jump fences. If you leave her outside unattended, she will likely not be there when you return. Probably because she is looking for someone else to hang out with. Consequently, Venus must be monitored when outside in a fenced-in backyard or walked on a leash.
