About Anakin

Anakin is a very sweet, affectionate and large Malamute/Husky mix whose parents were each over 100 lbs. (NOTE: Husky is not a breed option provided by this form so I chose American Eskimo Dog as the closest alternative.) Ani has 2 dog and 1 cat 'siblings' and plays well with all 3 of them. His owners must move to a new home and most landlords where they live (on Oahu in the state of Hawaii) do not accept any pets ay all. A few will take small dogs and cats but none advertise that they are willing to accept large dogs. While Ani's owners hope they can find a landlord that WILL accept Ani, in an abundance of caution so as to not risk surrendering him to the HS when their move date arrives, they hope to find someone who will foster Ani; finding him a forever home is a less desirable option but one they must consider. They have family who will take the other large dog (a Golden Retriever) but Ani has no similar prospects. I don't really know how to characterize Ani's temperment as far as dominance/submissive goes. He is a puppy so cabaple of being rambunctious but most times when I see him he's sleeping.
