About LIONEL

The adorable LIONEL is looking for his forever family! This young man is very energetic and will require a fenced yard. He loves playing with his foster sisters and any toy he can get ahold of! Lionel is especially fond of large outdoor balls. Lionel came to us as a 7 to 8 month old puppy suffering from severe Demodex. He has since fully recovered but needed entropion surgery. At the vet's recommendation, we had to wait for him to grow up a little for his entropion surgery which he has now had (picture is pre-surgery). Lionel is very affectionate and very rambunctious! His ideal home will be with a person or family who is works from home or is home most of the day. Lionel is heartworm negative and current on vaccines and is now approximately 13-14 months old. His last weight was 92 pounds. *** ADOPTION DETAILS: At this time, due to the size of our rescue, adoptions are limited to NORTH CAROLINA, SOUTH CAROLINA, VIRGINIA and +/-6 hours from Chapel Hill, NC. ADOPTION FEE: Our total adoption fee is $400, including a non-refundable $25 application fee.
