About Lightning

PLEASE READ: Lightning is the sweetest boy you will ever meet. He loves people, and other dogs are his favorite! One day, we had him out in the dog park with his brother and there were two other puppies in the other dog park. And guess what Lightning and his brother did? They walked along the fence to find a hole and pushed under so they could play with the other pups! Yep! The other pups were 2 times smaller than him and he was still super gentle. Don't worry though, he never escapes, he just LOVES other dogs! Lightning is really shy so he hides from you at the shelter, but take it from me, whenever he knows you then he's the complete opposite! When I first met him, he was super skittish and was nervous and hiding behind his brother but after taking him out to the dog park a couple times and giving him some treats, he completely changed! Once he knows and trusts you, when you run, he'll run and when you sit down, he'll lay in your lap. Like I said, loves people! He's been here for a month or so and he really wants a home. He was very bonded with his brother but his brother was adopted so he would love to have another dog in the family to lean on. Please give him a chance! Better pic coming on Monday, 3/25/24!
