About Bear

Bear is a great dog and loves to be with other dogs. He is a pure bread black labrador who loves the water. Bear loves to go for walks and to just be spoiled. Unfortunately, my dad was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia and is currently fighting that battle. His doctor has highly recommended that Bear become an outside dog, and it is breaking my dad's heart. My parents also know how hot the Vegas summer will become soon so they desperately want to find him a good home. My dad is anxiously awaiting a bone marrow transplant surgery himself that will take place in Austin, Texas. Once that day comes that insurance has approved the donor, my parents will be moving to Austin for at least 4+ months. There won't be anyone to care for Bear then. Finding Bear a loving family has now become my mission so that my dad can focus on living rather than worry.
