About Rocky

�Ϭ Rocky is available for adoption! �Ϭ Rocky is an approximately 3-5 year old neutered male black shepherd. He is a big, goofy, silly, happy boy! ���%8D He is house and crate trained, up to date on vaccinations and on flea prevention. Rocky is heartworm positive but he has already started treatment and is doing great! The rescue provides the slow kill treatment for one year. Rocky recently had his front left leg removed due to nerve damage after being hit by a car and picked up as a stray. But don't be fooled - he does not let the fact that he is missing a leg slow him down! Rocky is still A LOT of dog and he is not a couch potato! ��մ He easily jumps the 3 foot baby gates in his foster home and climbed right out of his 4 foot pen. ��%A4� Rocky will need a privacy fenced yard as he could easily go over a chain link fence. His mobility is very good. He can navigate stairs and load up in the car with ease. He is very strong and will pull you around on a leash if you let him. Since he is feeling better we are working on manners but he still loves to jump up to say hello and can be mouthy with his affection. Rocky loves people and is great with big kids and adults. �%9D%A4��%8F He is a large, bouncy dog and doesn't know it so he might not be a good fit with small children or anyone with balance issues. Rocky is good with other dogs and is generally laid back. He likes to play and can still be a rough and tumble guy. He is being fostered with a cat but he is VERY interested and focused on her, despite being strongly corrected for the behavior. He should not be trusted with cats unattended. ���%BE��s� He has not been around chickens or livestock. Rocky's adoption fee is $200 and he is located in Pensacola, FL.
