About Mika

my wife and I are struggling to give Mika the time she deserves, as we both work full time. During the day the responsibility has fallen on my elderly parents which has created a lot of stress. My parents already have a smaller dog (Havanese), Mika wants to play with her but unfortunately she is too rough due to the size difference. Mika is a Husky/Akita mix and can sometimes be territorial as well. Mika is very sweet but she has a difficult time getting along with other dogs, I think she would thrive in a home with no other pets. We gave Mika several months to adapt and tried everything but unfortunately little progress has been made. We've called every possible friend and family member multiple times and waited months in hopes of not sending her to a shelter, but we had no luck. We really hope you are able to help us!
