About ELLIE

Hi there, I'm Ellie! I'm a sweet and friendly 11-month-old small mixed puppy with a gentle heart, currently in a foster home near Seattle. I was saved from a California shelter, and my paperwork says shepherd but I could very well be an Australian Kelpie given my current size (35 pounds only!). My curiosity leads me to explore and learn new things, and my smarts help me navigate through life. I love being independent and can entertain myself with my favorite toys, but I'm also a playful cuddle bug who loves being around people. I love walks and do well on a leash, and I love belly rubs! I am a bit head/face shy and so need an owner who understands that until he/she wins my trust. As a result, I would do best in a home without young children (teens are OK). I do well with most dogs but am definitely an alpha girl, so my canine companion would need to be OK with that. My loyalty runs deep, and I promise to be your most faithful friend. I'm looking for a home where I can share my love and playful spirit. Adopting me means gaining a loyal companion who will bring joy and happiness into your life.
