Meet our handsome tripod, Cash! Cash was found limping and homeless and was captured while doing TNR (trap, neuter, return.) While getting neutered, it was discovered he had a femur fracture that was healing but would cause Cash to have an eternal limp and potential other issues. Luckily, Cash was a friendly guy so we felt comfortable with moving forward with an amputation and finding this guy a forever indoor home! He can be a little shy but he warms up nicely. He is playful and is navigating very will with three legs.%A0 Cash is FIV+ which means he may have a more susceptible immune system. FIV is only transmitted to other cats via sex and deep bite wounds and positive cats can live with negative cats with minimal risks when they all get along. Cash has been around other cats but does like attention so should not be competing too much for attention with others or problems may arise. We think he might be ok in a home with few pets and ones that don't pay much attention to him and are not overly needy for attention from their humans.
