Bella is an approximately 5 year-old American Staffordshire female. She is a very sweet girl that is looking for a forever home with no small children. We adopted her a year ago and she was a wonderful addition to the family but just recently snapped at our 3 year old son and now have decided she needs to be placed in a home with no small children. She is usually indifferent around small children and pretty easy going but might snap if she is jumped on by a little one. She is very affectionate and a wonderful companion. She loves giving hugs and kisses and is the absolute best cuddler. She also likes to play with her toys, lounge on the couch, and go for walks or sniff around the back yard. Occasionally she will get some extra energy and likes to run around and do zoomies in the house. She is okay in the car- a little uneasy at first but fine on longer trips. She is not a fan of thunder and will definitely look for her family to cuddle if she hears it. We are not sure how she is with other dogs and cats but we were told from the shelter that she was around other dogs at her previous home. She is spayed and up to date on all her shots. She was heartworm (faint) positive when she was adopted (a year ago) but has received treatment (2 shots) and monthly preventative. She will be retested this week to confirm she is now negative.
