About Otis

Otis is approximately 5-6 years old. He started his life as a bait dog and was rescued from that situation. He has been with his current family for several years. He has been around older children and did fine. By the end of the day the current full house of people and other pets wears on his nerves and he is prone to lashing out if he people are trying to love on him. He did bite my daughter once when she woke him from a sound sleep in the middle of the night by trying to kiss the top of his head. He will rest his head on your lap under the table in hopes you'll slide him some pizza crust. He is great at alerting you when someone is coming to the house. Because of his bait dog beginning he will snap at you if you try to take care of his wounds. He doesn't like men with hats on, flashbacks to early abuse. His unpredictability with chaos does NOT make him a good candidate for homes with small children. Searching out an understanding, loving home for this sweet dog with less chaos than he's currently experiencing.
