About Hiri

Hello! In search of a rescue or a very particular family to adopt our dog. We brought him home from Japan in 2022 when my husband got out of the service. We adopted Hiro (Hero) in Sept 2019. He was born in June that year. He has really struggled with our return to the states. He is anxious outside and very dog aggressive so we can't bring him along with us anywhere. He only seems to get along with small dogs that do not have a dominant personalty. He loves his kids but we have had issues with him nipping on several occasions (when provoked and he didn't break skin). We struggled for over a year now getting him comfortable and as much as it breaks my heart, he deserves to be somewhere he is happy and comfortable. You must own your home and have a fenced in yard for him. Please feel free to message me if you have any recommendations for a rescue that can work with him.
