About Hunter

Hunter is around 3 years old and 75 lbs. He is a sweet energetic boy that does suffer from some anxiety; especially around loud noises but is being treated with medication to help him. When Hunter turned around two years old, he started showing aggression towards the other dog in the house. We believe he was trying to establish himself as the alpha dog. He underwent training at Rucker Dog Training to help with this behavior, however the family has been unable to completely eliminate his aggression toward the other dog in the home. It is due to this that the family has decided with a heavy heart to find a new home for Hunter. We believe a home with no other animals would be the best environment for him. Hunter is a sweet dog and a home with a fenced yard and older kids would be best for him. He loves playing with the children and going for hikes. His favorite things to do is play fetch and lay next to the children as they read while chewing on his toys. There has never been a concern to have Hunter around children as long as the other dog was not around. Any loving home that is currently pet free would be a great new home for Hunter. He walks very well on a leash but does get excited when he sees another dog so an experienced dog owner would be best for him. He is crate and house trained and would love an active family/person to give him his furever home!! ** All of our Wigglers are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, hw tested/treated, and on preventatives. We require receipts spanning 2 consistent years of HW preventatives for already owned pets, UTD on shots, and spay/neuter in order to adopt. Please read their description above closely.
