About Duke

Howdy Neighbors! My wife and I are looking to rehome this sweet boy, Duke. Some basic info: He is a little over two years old. He weighs somewhere between 50-60lbs. He is a Brindle Plott Hound. His coat is absolutely gorgeous and matches his out-going personality. He is extremely energetic and fun. He likes to run around when its play time, and cuddle when its nap time. He has a loud commanding bark when your not giving him the attention he desires. He needs some obedience work but is good for the most part with basic commands. He is fully potty trained and kennel trained. He is 'okay' with cats. He wants to play with them but I don't think he realizes how much bigger he is than them. He is great with other dogs. Were not entirely sure how he is with children. Reason for rehome: Please keep any negative comments to yourself as I know rehoming a pet is not ideal. Me and my wife would not be doing this if it wasnt what we thought was best for our family and Duke. We recently had our first child, and between working, taking care of a baby, and running errands, we cannot provide Duke the attention he deserves anymore.
