About Orca

Orca is a special needs rabbit who was recently surrendered from an elderly woman who felt she wasn't able to care for Orca any longer. She is completely blind in one eye and has what appears to be the beginnings of vision loss in the other eye, so she will need a home who is willing to accommodate her needs as they change throughout her life. She has a super sweet personality. She is very interactive and feeding is her favorite part of the day. She can be silly and fun. Even though her eyesight isn't the best, that hasn't stopped her from having fun. We have been working with her on being held and she is doing really well! She allowed someone to hold her for over 20 minutes straight just a few days ago. Her introduction to the litter box has been going really well and we think that would continue in her new home. She hasn't been spayed. The previous owner wasnt sure of her exact birthday, but she wasn't done growing when she got her over 5 years ago.
