Name: Buddy Age: Approx. 4.5 years old Breed: Curly Coated Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier Mix, no current accurate weight but overweight Sex: Male (neutered) Location: Allegheny County, PA 'Buddy is such a good boy!' Vet Info: Buddy is microchipped and neutered. He had one eye removed due to Glaucoma. The other may need to be removed in the future. According to Buddy's owner, he is not hard of hearing. However, he was adopted by his owner from a shelter who had noted that he may have hearing issues. Buddy is not current on vaccinations. Dog Info: Buddy is an indoor dog with the run of the house. He's leash trained and enjoys going for walks. He knows many cues to help him get around in his environment. Buddy is outgoing and good with people of all ages as well as dogs and cats. His owner tells us that Buddy does really well around her young daughter, her female Pit Bull, and her cats. He's not possessive of treats, toys, or food. He's not aggressive and has no bite history. Buddy enjoys bones and has a favorite toy that he plays with. He gets stressed in thunderstorms. Buddy had been house trained and used the doggy door in the home. However, he has been having accidents recently. Medical causes have not been explored, so he will need to visit a vet to determine the cause of this change in behavior.
