Tito is an unforgettably special gentleman whose been sadly placed on the kill list. He's been a family pet his entire 7 years of life and should be commended for the leaps and bounds progress he's made since arriving to the shelter a month ago. Like every family pet surrendered, he was devastated and frightened of what was to come. The shelter judges pets immediately upon intake instead of allowing them time to acclimate and feel safe. Tito has no bite history! A family boy who adored the children he lived with and preferred hanging out with everyone in the their living room. Respectful and playful. Naturally confused as to why he was abandoned after devoting his heart to the only home he knew. Videos captured by volunteers show his soft, mellow, easy going yet interactive disposition. Reportedly possessive over food, yet the video shows him gently enjoying an ice cream cone as a volunteer holds it upright for him. At the shelter, he ignores other dogs. He allows all handling even if he's submissive with a tucked tail and sometimes shaking. His delicate floppy ears, soft eyes and marbled coat create the most endearing doggie. Tito is clearly a companion pet. He only knows how to be part of a home. To destroy a sweet, innocent dog like him is unthinkable. We are earnestly searching for a foster or adopter to give him the chance he wholeheartedly deserves. He is out of time and likely to become a heartbreaking statistic without a foster or adopter.
