About Bree

My husband and I adopted Bree over 11 years ago in 2012. When we adopted her she was anywhere from 2-4 years old. And she's been the best dog and companion for us. But we had our first daughter in May 2022, and they were able to coexist well before the baby started walking. When she started walking over the summer, I was pregnant with my second and more anxiety came from that. And when the second child came in September, Bree became even more anxious. I really don't trust her around the kids. With that being said there hasn't been any accident, but her behavior leads me to trust my instinct that there always needs to be with extreme caution when she's around the babies. Bree was our only child for almost 10 years. We never exposed her to children. And always kept our distance from other dogs. Bree thrives in a home where there are lots of couch cuddles, blankets, and being the only 'child'.
