About MEXICO

All your questions are answered in this narrative.. if you read everything, & you think that you might fit the bill after reading what's written here, please feel free to call me. Meet little Mexico...a little 13 lb ball of delight... looking at him mostly Chihuahua...but since he was found wandering the streets of Miami unneutered, unvetted, unmicrochipped....as I always say, whatever he is.... 'rescue' is really my favorite breed.... rescued from the horrible, dangerous streets of Miami by a good Samaritan. I have been doing rescue over 35 years in Miami and my goal is to make sure I get him the home where people understand that they cannot only love this little dog, but that there is a responsibility to him as well, emotionally, physically and financially. Mexico is still young.... only about 3 years, so my job and my goal is to see to it that I get Mexico into a wonderful home where he will be cared for in a manner that he deserves for the rest of his life. I was diagnosed with cancer 3 years ago and have slowed down with rescue tremendously, but hearing about little Mexico, I was compelled to see to it that he is properly rehomed and he gets the loving home that he deserves for the remainder of his life. Mexico is sweet and loving. Hopefully I can find him a home where somebody understands that he has been in a home with a multitude of dogs with a woman that has done her best to try to give him the best chance but he does need to learn how to be better with getting on a better schedule and being housebroken. My advice to whoever adopts Little Mexico will be to keep him in a belly band while he's in the house so he does not mark, and since I am well-versed on this if you call me with an interest to adopt I can help to explain this to you a little bit more in depth. Little Mexico also is a jumper and if you keep things on the counter he will jump and he will get them so you have to be very careful not to leave anything else such as food that he is not supposed to eat. He's very loving and affectionate. He loves to be loved. He loves to give affection and receive affection. He gets along with other dogs. He is not bad with children but because children usually don't know how to handle little dogs well he would probably do better in a household with no children or older children. We would definitely consider Mexico to be of average temperament. He is still energetic and playful and loves to jump. Mexico is a very loving, happy, sweet dog. I have made the commitment to Mexico to make sure I find him the opportunity to find the right home he needs. My promise to him now is to make sure I find him the best forever home with one who will love him for the many years he has ahead ....a family who will continue to let us know how wonderful he is doing. Mexico will be your best friend. Will you be his?? We are looking to find the perfect person/couple/family that will give him as much as he deserves. He comes to you neutered, microchipped (AND MICROCHIP WILL REMAIN IN MY NAME INDEFINITELY), heartworm negative & on heartworm & flea/tick prevention& if u adopt him you MUST keep him on both & up to date with yearly check ups & vaccines.
