About Spanky

Spanky had a herniated disc and had to have surgery. Rescue the Underdog facilitated the surgery and saved his life. He can now run, play, jump, and act like a nut like any other dog. He is expecially funny as he has a sense of humor, likes to talk (vocalize) while he is communicating with his human and what he wants. He is great with other dogs but not too good with cats as he barks at them. The most important thing with Spanky, is that he must be matched with a person or persons that know how dogs react and can read their body language. He must have the time to adjust to a new home and his new people before too much interaction is demanded from him. Once he is comfortable, he is just amazing, cute, and funny! He did give a minor bite to a foster home member when they put too much pressure on him too soon. He is housebroken, has a great personality, great sense of humor, very talkative, and sleeps all night in a crate not making noise or messes.
