About SEYMOUR

Seymour is a sweet senior who has hearing and sight impairments. He came from a shelter in El Centro CA where he was brought in as a stray, he is at least 9-10 years old and seems to have had a rough life, but we don't have any additional history on him. Despite being slightly shaky on his legs and being unable to see or hear much, he is a spirited little man and quite independent! He gets along well with the other dogs and the cat although it's questionable if he even knows the cat exists. He spends most of the day sleeping but perks right up for mealtime! Seymour likes to be carried but will let you know when he's ready to get down. He enjoys wandering around the house and becomes very distressed if confined to a cage or even a room. Seymour appears to have been potty trained but when he needs to go, he needs to go!! He does have some marking habits which are easily remedied with a belly band and he's doing better since he was neutered. Seymour also had a dental cleaning done at that time. Seymour will do well with a calm family where the people and animals alike are understanding of his limitations.
