About Tommy

Meet Tommy. This beautiful boy was found running around in a small rural town. When no one claimed him, he was turned over to the local animal shelter. His pictures do not do him justice - he looks very serious but he is a very happy, playful guy. Tommy loves people and cuddling on the couch with you. This boy is so smart he knows how to open doors. Tommy gets along with other dogs, but he will chase cats. Tommy would love to find a family to call is own. He is about 2 years old and 35 pounds. Please help make this sweet boy's dream come true. Update: Tommy tested positive for Lyme's & Anaplasmosis, 2 common tick borne diseases. He is currently on a short course of oral antibiotic and is doing very well. The remaining dose of medication can be sent home with his new family for completion. Tommy is currently available for adoption! We do NOT ship our animals. All adoptive families must travel to us to meet their adoptive dog/cat. Applicants must live within a 2 hour radius from Sparta/Andover (07871/07821). Please understand that we are an animal shelter and thus unable to say whether the dogs are housebroken as they are not in homes.
