**CAPTIVATING CALLIE** Age 3 Phoenix AZ. Oh, this mama has stollen our hearts! A good Samaritan found this sweet mama at his doorstep begging for help. He could tell she had recently given birth and had a look of urgency and sadness in her eyes. He did everything right.....he put her on a leash and walked her around the neighborhood hoping someone would recognize her or she would lead him to her puppies. This neighborhood proved to be unfamiliar to her....our best guess is she was probably dumped here, and she will never know the fate of her babies. The good Samaritan found Fur The Paws online and reached out to us to see if we could help. We of course said YES! This is what we do and why we are in this community, to help people and animals in need of a helping hand. Fast forward a month and our girl is ready to find her fur-ever. She is so happy and loving, she has been fully vetted, will be spayed prior to adoption, UTD on all her vaccinations and microchipped. She weighs in at 41lbs. Callie is potty trained, uses doggy door and knows how to ask to go out, she loves to go for rides and walks, she was understandable nervous around new people but she is getting better and building her confidence, she is crate trained and sleeps all night, she plays like a puppy with a bit of a rowdy play style, she gets along with big dogs and plays well with the 5lb Chihuahua in her foster home.
