About Garfield

Domestic Cat
Age: Young Adult
Sex: Male

Garfield came to us with his name. He had a family. They asked us to take him. They said that he wasn't behaving. They also never took him to the vet. He was never neutered. They said he would go outside and he would get into cat fights. We took him in. We got him neutered. Got him a shots. When he was tested, we found out he had feline leukemia virus. All of this could likely have been prevented if he had not been allowed to be outside as an intact male fighting with other males in his neighborhood. We won't know for sure, but it's just really unfortunate. He is one of the sweetest snuggly boys. He gets along well with other cats. He's been living a wonderful life in one of our foster homes with other positive kitty cats. However, he needs a home filled with love and people. A whole home where he can snuggle up in bed at night and wake up in the morning and have breakfast with his family. He deserves somebody like you! For the right family, we will work on transport! You do not have to live in Ohio. We just want to find him the best home ever! Apply to be considered. https://form.jotform.com/202214857624050 You must have a single cat home, or a home with other cats that are leukemia positive to be considered. Dogs are fine.
