About Penny

Good Afternoon, I adopted my dog Penny end of January this year. She is an amazing dog (female, Lab/pit mix, 3 yrs old), so sweet and just wants to cuddle and be with people. Though she has done well interacting with my cats, she does try to play with them and they are becoming extremely stressed and I am worrying about their health now. I also received a promotion that is going to have me traveling a lot more, and I don't want to have to keep putting her in boarding or with sitters for long periods of time. Penny does well with other dogs (have taken her to dog parks), and is slowly learning its safe to play with them. She also has learned to like to play with toys. She is very attached to me, so separation anxiety is something we are currently working on. Being left alone, she is not destructive, and I have not had to crate her at all since having her. I want a home where she can be so loved, and pampered. She has her own spot on the couch and bed, so someone who would let her do the same in their home would be amazing. Penny does well with all kid ages, and she does have her zoomie moments, but for the most part she is pretty low key (she has not barked at all since I got her). I do take her to work with me, and she interacts well with everyone, and rides well in the car and does pretty well on her leash/harness.
