To meet INDIA and be considered for adoption you must first submit an ADOPTION APPLICATION using this link- https://form.jotform.com/232395363383057 or by filling out an application on our website- aplaceofhoperescue.com INDIA is a 12 week old Min Pin mix pup who came from a shelter with her littermates and mom, Indigo. LOCATION: Pensacola, FL NEEDS: Active family. LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY! INDIA and her brothers and sisters ended up in a kill shelter with their mom, Indigo, when they were only 6 days old! We were so happy to bring them to rescue when we were asked to help. Mom Indigo is very friendly and sweet (she likes to give hugs) and the puppies inherited her temperament. Mom weighs 20 pounds (no idea what dad is). Based on their current weight all of the puppies should be small to medium sized fully grown (20-30 pounds). India is one of the most playful of the pups. She is so happy to run and play all day long. She would love a family who spend lots of time with her and take her with them on lots of adventures! She's active and is going to need an active family to keep up with her puppy energy. India loves all the dogs in her foster home and does not like being alone. Of all the pups she is the one who really needs a doggy best friend to be happy. We have not had her around cats but she's young enough to learn how to behave with them. We are sure that she would be good with kids. India will need to be leash trained and a fenced yard would be great for this curious girl. Her foster mom is really good at potty training and reports that she is doing well. She is also doing well with crate training and sleeps at night in a crate with one of her fur siblings. India has had two sets of puppy shots, has been fecal tested and wormed, had a full wellness check at the vet and is microchipped with a lifetime registration. Her adoption fee includes her third set of shots (next week), and her rabies vaccine and spay at our vet when she is old enough. Because she has pending vet appointments India is local adoption only which is within a 1-hour drive to Pensacola. Whoever adopts her will need to bring her back for her last set of shots and her rabies and spay. India is a lovebug looking for a loving, forever home! *We are located in Pensacola Florida. Puppies, dogs with pending vet appointments, and dogs with behavioral issues are only adoptable within a 1 hour drive to Pensacola. Most others we will consider within a 5-hour drive. We do not ship or transport our dogs. *We are a foster-based rescue and do not have a facility. Our dogs live in private homes in and around the Pensacola area until they are adopted.
