About Lightning Eugune

My name is Lightning Eugune and I currently live in Knoxville, TN. I am a boxer - pitbull mix. I was dropped off in my current foster family's backyard. My currently family is great but I don't get along with some of the other dogs here. I would prefer to be the only pet and get all the attention. I have been to the vet as well as intensive training. I am around 2/3 years old and about 90lbs. I struggle with food and resource aggression. I am good with other dogs but at a distance. I don't like sharing my food or my toys. I have been with my current foster family for 8 months. I have been to intensive behavioral training with Sit-Means-Sit and I great with most everyone. I am well mannered and loveto play. Sometimes I snap and go into fight or flight mode. This can be intimidating at times and can be out of the blue. I accidentally have bitten a few times but all on accident. I tend to resource guard my food bowl or toys. My current family is unable to keep me because of my behavior problems with their other dogs. They have done extensive research on what to do in this situation and stumbled upon this rescue page. I don't want to get put down since I am a pit breed. I need someone who is patient and will work with my behavior problems.
