About Pickles

Meet Pickles! This sweet boy was pulled off the Euthanasia list at Riverside ( I foster dogs) and had stolen our hearts! Great with kids cats and other dogs! On the submissive side but lives to play w his foster dog siblings(7 total!) Good on a leash, learning basic commands, kennel trained. Learning where to potty. Pretty quiet guy. Wants to snuggle and be a Velcro dog. He was severely abused before coming to the shelter so has some scars on his leg/neck/ face but those have healed. He is weary of strange men, especially bald men but not aggressively he just runs to hide but will come around given time. He especially loves my 10 year old son and his foster husky sister. Loves to cuddle in my bed! Like most cattle dogs he enjoys high places like my outdoor patio table or a coffee table so he's learning where he can and can't hang out. Will be very picky about where he goes! This dog deserves people who will absolutely cherish him! He's a kind, gentle special little soul of a dog! Rescuing a dog from me means I can pull other dogs from high kill shelters!!
