About Cash

Adoption Fee: $375
Basset Hound mix
Age: Young Puppy
Sex: Male

Meet Cash! Male, currently 17 lbs. and growing. Mixed breed DOB 10/16 23 Introducing Cash! He was born 10/16/23, and sweet as can be. He loves to cuddle and give kisses. Definitely a unique, one of a kind pup...big head, big ears, wagging tail, and short, squat legs. He likely has some Basset Hound in him. He's so different looking that he's adorable. He definitely loves to play, and LOVES the snow, but can be very chill too. He does well with other dogs but could also be your one and only. He is great with kids, and loves playing and hanging out with the 2 boys in his foster home. He is very quickly learning to potty outside by following the lead of the 2 dogs in his foster family. One of the dogs in his foster home is older and isn't interested in him, the other is an adult female who mothers him and continues to teach him to be his best canine self. He has learned to walk very nicely on a leash and will sit for a treat and take it gently. If you're looking for an all around good guy, check out Cash! Illinois law requires that all of our dogs and puppies be spay/neutered within 14 days of a veterinarian deeming the dog or puppy is ready to be altered. In order to fully comply with this regulation and reduce the number of homeless dogs and puppies, we do not permit out of state adoptions of unaltered dogs or puppies. Our standard adoption fee is $375 cash or check and $385 credit card ($10 processing fee). It includes spay/neuter when age appropriate at our participating vets, age appropriate core vaccinations, fecal testing, deworming, flea and tick preventative,1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and micro-chipping. We must have an application, conduct a phone interview, and meet your entire family to approve an adoption. Applications will not be reviewed unless fully completed. An application does not commit you to adopting and does not guarantee adoption but does allow us to begin the review process. Please email [email protected] for an application or additional details. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed. Safe Haven Dog Rescue reserves the right to refuse adoption of any dog or puppy to any applicant (adopter) for any reason.
