About Sarah

Sarah is a high energy dog who takes a day or two to warm up to you and then will love you with everything she has. She loves to cuddle and will you lay her head on your lap on the couch and lay right down next to you in bed (she is a bit of a bed hog but her sweet heart makes it hard to kick her off) Sarah isn't much of a fan of rough housing but she will run herself to exhaustion playing fetch. She's very vocal around strangers and will always let you know when someone is approaching the house, and seems to be a little wary of being left alone. We have 2 cats and she seems generally uninterested in them and gets along well with the 3 male dogs that are in the house most of the time but does get annoyed with them and will growl at them when they rough house too closely to her. Overall she's a very sweet dog and we would love to keep her if space and money permitted but she was an unexpected gift and we feel that she will do best in an environment with more space for her to call her own. When Sarah was given to us her ribs were showing but over the last week with consistent food times and healthy serving sizes she has filled out a little bit and seems unbothered by other dogs being around her when she eats. She does eat very quickly and needs a slow feeder to keep from eating so fast that she makes herself sick.
