About Bean

Bean is: -medium energy -potty trained -very, very smart! -dog friendly -cat friendly, but will sometimes try to play with them -ultimate cuddler -leash trained, and easily manageable because of his size -has the most adorable little nub tail -heartworm positive, but ACC will cover all cost to treat it! Meet Bean! Mr. Bean is a 6 year old Doberman Pinscher and Plott Hound mix. He's got the cutest greying muzzle and is a great size - 45 pounds. He is medium to high energy with a nice off switch, and is both dog and cat friendly. He's 100% potty trained and leash trained. Bean is currently living with a feline foster sibling, and while respectful to kitty, he sometimes will initiate play to the annoyance of his kitty sibling. His foster mom says he should be okay with dog-savvy cats. This Beanie baby looooves to play! With the grace of a gazelle, he makes the cutest little bunny hops along with the most adorable nose boops to try and get other pups to play, play, play the day away. Once playtime is over, the Jelly Bean will happily cuddle and snore next to you on the couch. Bean loves to go on walks and sniff his way around Charlotte! He does pull some, but his little size makes it so that it's very manageable to walk him. You'll actually find that most of the pulling is from getting him to move along on the walk, since he finds all the smells oh-so-interesting. Beanie weenie LOOOOVES treats and is SUPER easy to train!! In fact, Bean picked up stay in just a few days at his foster home! He is extremely smart! Bean was first brought to the shelter last summer and quickly adopted out. Unfortunately, he found himself back at the shelter just a few months later after being found as a stray. He's been really sad about it. He just wants somebody to commit to him and give him a family!
