About Kenai

Kenai is a great boy! He is your typical husky, stubborn and hard headed but he is an extremely loyal and very loving dog. It has been over a year since Kenai has been in my care so it is evident that he needs work with boundaries and commands. He is extremely intelligent and treat/toy motivated! He loves kids, loves to give kisses, and loves to cuddle (when he wants to of course). When he was a puppy, he was attacked by a group of male dogs (small and large) and has since not been on the best of terms with other male dogs. I have tried different methods of rehabilitation and trainers but he is not 100% where I would be confident in saying he will be okay in a home with other male dogs or small dogs. He would be best in a home with female dogs or him being the only dog in the home. Since being in Fargo, ND he absolutely loves to run around and play outside! He loves to play around with us and loves playing catch! Just as equally, he does to be the occasional couch potato too. I had Kenai from a previous relationship and that person took responsibility of him when I moved out of state. Kenai was abandoned in a parking lot on the middle of the night and the microchip company notified me of his situation. I went back home to Las Vegas to bring him here and find him his forever home!
