About Diesel

This photogenic guy is Diesel, a 100 pound Rottweiler. He will be 2 years old in April. Diesel is a sweet boy who is eager to please. Diesel loves toys, his favorite toys are the ones that make noise. He will entertain himself for hours with his toys. Diesel likes to learn new things. Teaching Diesel new things is easy because he will do anything for a treat. He really loves his people and is always up for some cuddle time. Diesel knows his basic commands like sit, lay down, and shake. He requires a physically fenced yard to run and play safely. Diesel came into rescue as a local owner surrender. His dad died and his mom wasn't able to care for him anymore. Diesel led a sheltered life and never left his home except to go to the vet. He doesn't have much experience riding in a car and doesn't enjoy it yet. There were two other dogs in his home. Diesel is reactive to other dogs on a leash. Because of his size we would prefer to place him as an only dog. Diesel is house trained, kennel trained, neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and heartworm tested.
