Washbourne arrived to the shelter on 2/20/24 after being abandoned at an urgent care center with a moderate injury and open wound to his left hind leg. Washbourne needed multiple staples with a drainage tube, luckily it does not appear any injuries were sustained to his ligaments or muscles and should hopefully make a full recovery over time. However, Washbourne is going to be facing a lengthy stay at the shelter until he is in proper shape and would be available for adoption.
